ATV or UTV Propshaft Yokes are a crucial component of any all-terrain vehicle and are responsible for connecting the front and rear drivetrain components. Slip yokes as a link between the engine, transmission, and differential while allowing power to be transferred between the driveshaft components. The front prop yoke plays a very important role in the overall performance of the Polaris General, Polaris Ranger, or Sportsman. It is designed to be strong and durable so that it can withstand the high levels of torque and power generated by the super ATV engine. The drive shaft yoke must also be able to resist the torsional forces of high-output motors such as the Ranger XP 1000, Polaris RZR S 1000, or XP4 Turbo, as these can cause the chromoly steel yoke to break. The yoke is usually constructed from high-grade steel or aluminum and is often coated with a special lubricant to reduce friction and wear, similar to a wheel bearing grease.

The yoke has a number of teeth on its inner and outer sides, which are designed to fit together perfectly with the corresponding teeth on the differentials and transmission. Can-Am, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Arctic Cat and Kawasaki models are all able to have OEM replacement part numbers fitted when the original fitment is no longer functioning. Be sure to grab yourself a heavy-duty U-Joint EPS bushing kit and check out the selection of aftermarket rod ends to suit your Polaris Ranger XP 900, Ranger 800 or Polaris Sportsman 700!
